5 Unique Valentine’s Day Craft Ideas for Your Valentine Sweetie

Maybe it’s silly, but I guess I’m a hopeless romantic– I still love Valentine’s Day! I know it’s overhyped and too commercialized, but I love doing crafts and coming up with ideas for giving presents to my husband and decorating our home. I searched for the cutest, yet simplest, and not-too-expensive Valentine crafts, to create this list.

So here are the cutest ideas I can find at the moment. Hope you find one that you’d like to do!

1- “A Large Hand Crocheted Heart Kit” by Flax & Twine

I think this valentine craft is SOOOO cute! It really could be made and given to anyone, or you might even give it as a gift for someone else to DIY.

I just finished teaching myself how to crochet this past Holiday season. Since we just stayed at home and away from everyone, I had a little more time on my hands. (get it, hands? cause you use your hands to…yeah you get it)

I’d always wanted to learn how, and despite multiple people trying to teach me over the years, it never stuck. I might just have to give this one a try!

2- Valentine’s String Covered Heart Garland by Love Our Real Life

I always love a garland! There isn’t a time of year that I don’t want to find some type of garland to create. And this one looks pretty simple Valentine craft and not too time consuming!

This one is simple enough and the supplies would not break the bank, so I’m going to call this one a must-do for everyone!

3- DIY Dollar Store Heart Wreath by South Lumina Style

Gosh this one is cute! Again, not a huge cost investment for this Valentine craft, since you can get all the supplies at your local dollar store.

I love the traditional look of the pink roses on this one. Plus, I have a wreath for just about every season and I think it’s time for an update on my Valentine’s wreath, and this may just do the trick!

4- DIY Canvas Heart Art by Design Improvised

This Valentine craft is beautiful! I love how simply modern it looks, but there’s so many options to make these designs your own. If you can think of a medium, you can probably create a heart on a canvas with it!

5- DIY Valentine Heart Pom Pom’s by The House that Lars Built

These are super cute and don’t look too hard to make! You’ll need some yarn and then a little patience, then you’ll just need to decide where you want to hang them!

In conclusion, I’m sure there are a million other Valentine crafts out there for you to choose from, but these are my faves for this year!

I picked these because they don’t seem too time consuming, and I don’t think any of them would be too expensive or look too difficult- all things I like.
